Have been pretty busy after KL Marathon run(29/2/2004). To share a little bit of my experience, I finished the entire 42km in 5hrs 19. mins. In fact, my 1st target was to complete slightly less than 5hrs but them I went for the 2nd target, that is to complete the run comfortably. At least, there is still room for me to improve on my next run. I'm looking forward to the Penang Bridge Marathon 42 run (6/6/2004). Will have to think about the Ipoh International 42km on early July 2004.
The official time for me is
From the results shown above, you could easily know my running pace for each 10km distance. Especially, immediately after about 32km, I tend to slow down for various reasons.
I had 4 days leg rest and went to FRIM (Forest Reserve Institute Malaysia) at Kepong to participate in the 5.5km Bonding Run with one 19 year old student. The forest route was tough, but all of us enjoyed the breakfast and togetherness very much.
The event was organised by Pacesetter and sponsored by Brooks.
At long as you and your partner complete the run, you are entitled for the lucky draw. Does it sound good to you? We have two more breakfast runs this year. Anyone interested, please contact me.
This sunday 14/3/2004, I am joining the Power sponsored 10km run at Dataran Merdeka, it starts at 7-30am and I hope to do around 55 minutes or less
Before that, this Saturday 13/3/2004, at 6-30pm I am taking a few friends to join a Fund Raising Charity run organised by the "Cancer Research Institute" at Sunway College School field, I will treat this as a warm up exercise but not to exert myself, because the next morning will be the serious 10km run.
Also, I had signed up the Hong Leong Foundation Charity Run on the election day. Will cast my votes after the run.
